It was wonderful, I can hardly wait to go back and “do” Egypt in more depth. Our guide, “Nora”, Athena, was bright, caring, knowledgeable, personable and simply delightful. I wish I could adopt her, she was precious. Very important though and taking our lives into his hands was our driver who was skilled, patient and even keeled in the Cairo traffic, which is no easy task to say the least. All in all, it was an incredible two days and I highly recommend people who have the option, to do the overnight in the Cairo area, rather than go back to the ship, due to the long drive. The Oberoi was wonderful, however, we didn’t have any time to explore and experience the property, which I would have loved to do, given its history and celebrated status. Alas, there is always a next time!! Barbara Greenfield
